finally, some good news!

Last week at work the director asked if I would be the "official photographer" for the preschool & after school. Basically, it would just entail me going around to the different classrooms once a week and photographing them. We are required to keep portfolios for each class. It's mandated that we have pictures/portfolios documenting how the different needs for the age groups are being met. In addition to being the new (and first) "official" photographer, I will also be doing all of their website design & blog updates. I'm really excited about it! Yesterday I ordered a camera strap cover & I can't wait for it to get here! It will have my initials on it, which I am ecstatic about! I love monogrammed things =)

I can't believe Alan and I have already been married SIX MONTHS. I know everyone always says this- but it really does feel like it was just yesterday I was scrambling to make sure everything turned out right for our wedding, then spending our honeymoon relaxing in Mexico. Ah, those were the days! =) Boy am I glad my wedding planning days are behind me though! Since we never did engagement pictures, we are doing our first family portraits, Christmas picture & "engagement" picture all in one on Sunday. I can't wait! Our wedding photographer, Brooke Turner, will be doing them for us!

Alan and I have our portraits with our wedding photographer on November 14th. Today while Alan and I were at Target we found the cutest Mrs. Clause outfit for Bella. They also had Christmas pj's (like her Halloween ones) that I fully intend to go back and get =)
