Today we took our little school bus and went on our very first field trip to a pumpkin patch! =) At this age the kids love riding the school bus (it is in fact a "short bus" that is used for field trips, as well as to pick up the after school kids), they'll learn to hate it next year in Kindergarten. Since I haven't blogged about work in a while, I guess I should mention that I am now the Lead Teacher for the after school kids, as well as the Co-Lead Teacher for the half day 4 year old's. =) I love the younger kids (especially the older 2's and younger 3's), but this and the 4 year old class I already teach are ultimately the age groups I want to work with.

| Just so everyone knows: I made their field trip shirts with them and I wrote "Rainforest 2010" on the backs because that is our classroom name =) I'm pretty proud of them. |

A few weeks ago we made Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies with the 4 year olds. I thought they would be disgusting, especially since the ONLY measuring cup I could find in the entire church and the preschool was in the freaking metric system. They were actually pretty good =)
